This was one of my favorite campaigns we did. We came up with the theme, recipes, did the photoshoot, the design and the copy. Not only that, but an actual Facebook rep commented and I quote “This is a good post!” Sooo, you can beat that with a (pretzel) stick!
From that point on, I try to mimic that for all my posts and ads. You might be thinking, “why that one?” Well, you see it has a few things, 1 – nice, clear, close-up shot of product; 2 – the text on the image is short and sweet, AND falls under the 20% rule; 3 – with those things combined, the post/ad is very quickly identifiable as a recipe. This ad makes you stop and read – that is the goal of any post/ad, to make the user stop scrolling and read your stuff.
